Vibrant homes need well-maintained houses and vehicles! The responsibility of our Maintenance Person is to attend to the care and maintenance of our three homes and vehicles. This is a part time position (minimum .25FTE) which requires someone who can use their technical experience and skills in the context of our community life and under the direction of our Community Leader. Live-in Assistant
Our teams of 3-4 Live-in Assistants in each home are key to keeping our mission and identity alive and well! Assistants come to L'Arche Lethbridge from right here in town and from around the world. Respite Worker/Casual Relief
L'Arche Lethbridge employs a pool of Respite Workers who help to support the life in our homes when our Live-in Assistants are away. For more information about Respite work at L'Arche Lethbridge, and how to apply, please click here.
Awake Overnight Worker
L'Arche Lethbridge employs three to four people for Awake Overnight shifts (permanent full time, permanent part time, and casual respite). Awake Overnight Workers are responsible for supporting the overnight needs of three individuals with an intellectual disability including personal care as well as some light housekeeping. If you are capable of creating a positive, caring relationships with adults with disabilities and are also reliable and responsible, and most importantly, willing to stay awake all night, this could be a great fit for you. Handy Persons
L'Arche Lethbridge is building a team of Volunteer Handy Persons. If you know the difference between a Robertson and Philips screwdriver, can cut a board straight with a saw, and know how to lay paint with a roller we want to hear from you.
